Our Mission
In this community, we propose to recognize the current state of alcoholism and addiction and investigate the unique opportunity that the Church has to make a difference in our approach to healing this disease.
Open Spaces
We open discussion and conversation within the community, to ask honest questions about their journey of faith.
Direction
We strive to connect people with others who can aid in their recovery journey through mentoring, sponsorship, and spiritual directors.
Community
The opposite of addiction is community. We will create a community that exists and thrives beyond a single gathering each week.
Incorporated with a 12- Step model of recovery as outlined in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous and with an emphasis on the transformational invitation of the gospel.
We create/hold space for conversation as it relates to finding and exploring a relationship with Jesus.
Anyone is welcome to attend, regardless of their religious background.
KEY PRINCIPALS
The dignity of Human beings, being created in God's image, Following the teaching: 'What you did for the least of these you did for me.’
Jeremiah 30:17
For I will restore
health to you,
and your wounds I will heal,
declares the LORD,
because they have called you an outcast
Our intention is to demonstrate the connections between the impact that the Holy Spirit plays in the recovery process, the spiritual shift in the occurring world of the addict/alcoholic (mentally, spiritually, etc.) and the overall transformation concerning who addicts/alcoholics declare they will be in regards to their own recovery process.
